2024; Oil on panel, 11×14. I worked with a thicker impasto on this scene of snow along the Cherry Creek bike trail, with storm clouds receding to the east. Water along the creek was bitter cold and dark, dark, dark. The sliver of water as it cut through the snow caught my attention.
